This is a very simple and easy-to read book. The setting for the story is Yorkshire, England, a very peaceful place, and the characters are all children that spend their time in the wonderful and magical Secret Garden. The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that Mary Lennox, the main character, is hardly outlined.

I read this book and I must say that the beginning of the story was boring but while I was reading I found out that the story was interesting and intriguing. So I recommend this novel to all readers.

I recently read this book which I really didn’t like very much because I found it a bit boring. The story is about a little girl who found a garden that had been closed for many years in her uncle’s house. From the title I was expecting a magical garden but it wasn’t so.

Even if the text was written in the second half of the 19th century I think that some of the issues that are explored in this novel are still very relevant today. The story involves the reader in discovering the “secret garden” with the main characters.
