I chose this book because my favourite kind of book is horror and detective stories. I found the plot of these stories very interesting and fascinating, most of all the one titled The Masque of the Red Death because it was like living a nightmare in which the fear of death becomes real. In my opinion, the meaning of the story is that it is impossible to “keep death out the door” because it will be the final destination of everyone.This was the first book that I read in a foreign language, it has improved my English because I could learn a lot of new words.
